HP Imaging Device Functions is an HP driver and utility package that enables the scanning, copying, and faxing features of HP all-in-one printers and standalone scanners, primarily on Windows PCs. It installs TWAIN and WIA drivers, device communication services, and supporting tools used by HP Solution Center or HP Printer Assistant, as well as by third-party imaging applications. With this component, your computer can acquire images, configure scan settings and destinations, initiate scans from the device or the PC, and access maintenance and diagnostic features for the imaging hardware. The package supports both USB and network-connected HP devices and is typically included in HP’s Full Feature Software and Driver installer.
